You may know Kea Din, my 2nd cousin (assumed dead in Khmer Rouge), and Ong KimBorn, my neighbor. She is currently in Phnom Penh. I recall Seang, but Tung KimLong.

I wonder if you recall these girls Keo Yarin, Ith Sakhorn, and Tieng Kim Long. They were all my class mates, and they are currently in USA. Ly Southieng (basket ball player) is now in New Zealand. Her son will get married this spring and I plan to attend.

By the way I live in Minnestoa, USA. I will contact you sometimes this weekend via e-mail.

Kru Van Ly and his wife teach french..he rode a Solex french engine bicycle , they live in front Ang kim khorn rice mill before Watt Por? Te khun live at Utah, Sao live in san diego, so seang and tung kim long live in montreal canada.

Yes, you are right. I heard Chang Vang Say was killed by Khmer Rouge as soon as they took over the country. I also heard that Kru Sagam and Sey Tao passed away during Khmer rouge time.

I did not recall Kru Van Ly and his wife. What did they teach? Can you give me somemore clue?

By the way, I was the 4th generation of that school. Sey Tao was in the 1st generation and he was the brother the girl whom my parents wanted me to marry.

It looks like I am the younger one now (56 years old). I am glad to know you all and hope there are more to join our group.

Perhaps we should start to know each other better. As you know I was from Maung Russey, got diploma in 1970, Bac II in 1973, and 2nd year in Pharmacy in 1975. I stuck in Khmer Rouge regime like most of khmer. I got in Minnesota USA in 1981 and am still enjoying my lovely state. I plan to retire in Cambodia as soon as my youngest son finishes his degree, perhaps in 3 years.....then it will be my golden age....hahaha..

Thank you, Andrew, for your reply. I will never give up in searching missing old friends. But, not many people from Kampot escaped to Thailand I guess. Most people living I my city are from Battambang and Pursat. You are one year older than me. I started class Enfantain in '57. I'm so happy to meet people in the same generation like you, ChaoMoeung and Sorchek...

Hi Kiri..I remember I lost a volley ball to keep 1966.I also play basket ball and won Net yang college battambang.After that i went to khnero sovietic at Ppenh and join Para troup.Sorry for your sad mising friend.Keep trying some more and do the search worlwide. Good luck.

Sorchek I got a good new for u..Sey Tao still alive and live at Battambang,,,He's a deadmen walking.KR killed him by wrapped plastic bag in his head and sufficated him untill for felt down to a dry lake plenty of tree branch and thorn,Luckily the branch pok the plastic bag and got some air in...he in comas all day..and he woke up next day start to walk and seen all dead people in the lake. From that time he keep escape from town to town untill Hun sen troup free and moved to Battambang,,,he live there since then.This news got from Khmer that knew him.He seen him in the 80....Where is him right now? I got no Idea..I will try to find him.He used to be teacher at Battambang and study at battambang.

how far from moung russey  to phnom banoun or  chhoe teal?

I was in Kao I Dang camp too.  I left there in 1983.

Hi Andrew, you may not knew my brother his name is Prum Saly or Prom Saly is an army cheoung Kaok and also another brother is also chea tea hean choeung kaok daeh settle in Watt Reurs sey sanh West of PP camp there, but both dead of tov to toul samdach ov from KR fake! Sad sad to miss my both lovely brother at that year of 1975!
